Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Stereo Headset MW600

This is the sony ericsson mw600 bluetooth stero headset. Purchased it for $79, i must say it is a solid piece of headset. I used it to listen to music and calls. Quality is awesome with noise cancelling function.

You can also use your own earpiece to connect to the 3.5mm jack.

This is the standard earpiece that come with the headset, its performance is really good. I always thought bluetooth stereo headset, sound quality will be poor due to music transfered through bluetooth. But this really changed my mindset about bluetooth stereo headset.

This is a very cool  function about the headset,this is used to adjust the music volume and call volume. GUESS what, it is touch sensitive so u just need to swipe along that bar to adjust volume. Downside is it is not as sensitive as i hope it to be but bearable.

Self explanatory, fwd start pause backward the tracks. It works perfectly with HTC HD2 built in music player in htc sense.

Conclusion: For this price, i must admit it is really value for money, quality is really good with caller id function and display music tracks name. I am really impressed with the battery life. It also have its own FM radio function. It charge using micro usb port which is the same for HTC HD2, so no need to bring extra charger when you go overseas. Check out the specifications here MW600

A most compatible gps program for singapore users

Having tried TomTom 7 and Ndrive, i still prefer my old trusty Mapking 2007, it is the most accurate in terms of maps and navigation with a rich interface with informations on the maps. It uses standalone GPS, no data connection is required. Works on landscape mode too.

A battery charger

Resco Explorer V8.00 2010

I personally have used total commander, default window explorer and resco explorer. Resco explorer is the best i used so far. It has a lot of functions and highly customised. It is faster than default window explorer and does not have file restrictions like default window explorer. For example, sometimes when you want to paste something in to the windows folder, default explorer does not allow you to do it whereas resco is free from all these restrictions. It has add on of registry editor which also allow you to modify registry easily. In terms of interface it also looks better than total commander and default explorer with different skins (XDA forum) and color schemes for you to change. One of the coolest function i find is the encryption function built in the explorer, sometimes when i take photos of some girls and do not want my gf to see (joking) i use the encryption function to encrypt the photos, once it is done the photos will not even show up in HTC album. Good for storing important files. Another cool function is the ability to map network drives which you can share on your computer or laptops. Hence you can skip the trouble of syncing with the computer when you want to get some files from the computer to the phone. Works flawlessly on HD2 and really enhance the power of HD2. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The group sms is also useful as i tend to group my friends in groups, thus when i send out a sms i do not need to send out individually. Working flawlessly on my HD2.

Sanyo Mobile Booster

Bought this at funan for $43. This is a mobile booster with 2500mAH capacity. HTC hd2 battery has a capacity of 1230mAH, judging by the numbers this booster should be sufficient enough to charge HTC hd2 at least twice. But apparently it is not so, i tried to charge but it keeps stop charging by itself and the booster becomes very hot. I called the sanyo customer service, the officer told me apparently the booster is not capable of charging HTC hd2 and the 2500mAH of the booster and 1230mAH of htc hd2 battery is not calculated this way. HTC hd2 user DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. The official website offers very little information about the product. A bad purchase. A side note: it can charge my old HTC hd up to 80% before it stop charging.

This is an OEM_battery bought off from ebay for HTC HD2, price is cheap and battery life is pretty close to the real default battery that comes with HTC HD2. It cost only US4.83, which is considered dirt cheap as opposed to buying original battery in Singapore which cost around $60-$70. Recommended as we all know that HD2 battery life hardly lasts a day of normal usage.
